EEEK...It's DUCKS

Tell him not to take the duck the the restaurant! He should cook it for himself, grilled!
Muscovy duck tastes very good, sells for 32.00 for a breast on the internet!
We raise them for both meat and eggs, the eggs are wonderful to bake with!
It is hard not to get attached, cuz they friendly. My male nips at me when I don't pay him enough attention!I hope you get the friend too, they get very lonely.

Darn you are a 165 miles from me and I am in Columbus this weekend. I'd love to take it , espec. if it was a female. Brenda are you still looking for a new drake? None of my eggs survived.

Anyways does the duck make a soft drilling quiet little quack(female) or does it just hiss(male)? Whats the weight jump on the scale with the duck and then subtract your weight. More than 7 pounds would be a boy. Oh and whatever the sex its still a teen about 3-4 month old looking at the pic. Just clip the wings get a doghouse and keep and try to catch the mate. BTW they love boiled noodles and leftovers from lunch annd dinner.

I think we have determined that Dusey (oh no! named duck) is a girl. She makes a funny little whistley quack not a hiss. We haven't really looked at her foot yet. She doesn't seem to be in a lot of pain and I don't want to stress her a bunch right now.
I made her an egg for breakfast, hope that's the correct ducky remedy.

I should find out soon if we have another one coming.

They seem happy tp see each other and they are eating so...so far so good! I get another pic later.

Here is the newest addition... please ignore the "facility" in the background. It's the best place I have to keep them warm, confined and away from my 6 setters. It's also where my chicks were till they went outside.

They seem perfectly content there for now but boy do they POOP! I need MUCH more newspaper.
