EE's and Marans

How are water eggers and marans for laying? I know they aren't prodiction layers by any means but are they still capable of laying every day? I'm thinking about getting two of each.
 
My EEs are very good layers. They lay almost everyday, taking a break here and there, or occasionally going broody. I have cuckoo Marans as well, but I can't speak for their productivity, mine haven't started laying yet :)

That's great to know. I'm extremely excited to getine this weekend. What age did your EEs begin to lay?
