I went out to collect eggs this morning and was surprised by a blue/green egg! Just when I thought our EE wasn't ready to lay yet...she sure proved me wrong!! (The white egg is from our Leghorn.)

Now we have four hens that are laying, two are only laying every other day. I'm guessing the EE will probably be an every-other-day girl for a while too.

[IMG] Doesn't it feel great? Congratulations!

My EEs started at 16 weeks, I was amazed, and laid quite regularly right from the beginning.

Every- other -day, not my EE's I get 3 eggs a day from three hens 5 days a week then i'll get one then two the next day and two the next.. Mine appear to be really good layers thus far. I got mine from Mt healthy hat. and I have one blue layer and two green ones of different shades. This is my first time with EE's. Gloria Jean

[IMG] Way to go EE. [IMG]

I lost my last EE to a red tailed hawk. Keep a watch on her. It couldn't pick up my RIR's but got my last EE. [IMG]
