Come on lil Duckie... Have a little rest...then wriggle and push with all your little duckie strength. You have already captured the hearts of many over the last four weeks and we all cant wait to hear you have hatched safely.

Male or female...it will be a very precious little one indeed.

You're as bad as I was with my 1st batch. Can't wait to see the little tike! Can you take a picture of the egg from the window of the bator and post it showing it pip? I have a feeling you won't get much sleep tonight.

Im so eggsited Ducky. I went and got him a ducky friend today..the stufffed kind to keep him company untill the other 2 hatch and I got him a yellow rubber ducky for the bath. My better half just rolled his eyes at me. Men, they just dont understand do they

DH is working tomorrow, so I hope it holds out untill he gets home at 4pm to hatch. Its his Birthday Duck, even tho his B/Day isnt untill the 24th.

Still nothing. A bit of the shell fell off where he pipped when I was in a rush to put the lid on after turning my other eggs and banged the lid. Is there ment to be a hole in the membrane under the shell. The shell was hit out but the membrane isnt open, it looks like its still sealed!! Is it ment to be that way, plus the bit of membrane looks dry. Ive been able to keep my humidity up while turning other eggs and its up at 81 just now.

From what I have been told, I think you need to intervene now that you opened the lid because of shrink wrap, if the membrane is still intact and you opened it, I think maybe you may have jeapordized it with the risk of shrink wrapping. I was told time and time again once they have externally pipped you do NOT open the lid because any slight fluctuation in humidity could or will cause shrink wrap. I really don't know now what to tell you but add more water in the vent holes ASAP increase the humidity, I would jump it up to 85% instead of intervening and listen and watch and try to stimulate that baby to come out ASAP.

Humidity is at 81 just now, Its not gone under 77 since I got it stabled. I opened this morning, flipped the eggs and shut it, humidity was at 70 when I closed lid and went straight back into the 80s. I havent opened it since. The egg is rocking and virating just now. Humidity and Temp are all good.
I just dont know if hes ment to break theu the membrane under the egg the same time as he does the egg. I looked back at some photos of other peoples and there eggs looked just like miine does. I dunno
