Egg bound Button Quail, may be prolapsing. In distress now.

The egg feels really large. It seems the only thing to do is break it, but dont want to spill the contents into her abdomen.

Just applied the neosporin gel to vent.

i would try to wait for now and see if response from more experienced person

When I massage towards the vent, cant see the egg shell because there is tissue over it. Can the egg be stuck in the ovaduct? The tissue looks like intestine, but I really cannot say that for sure.

Scared to push the egg too much because I just dont see shell and feel that if I continue pushing that the tissue showing will tear and if its bowel ...no good.
