I just noticed that both my black austrolorps have lumps right between their vent and pelvic bone. One of them simply will NOT shut up and I think their poo might be abnormal, heres a pic-

You can't see it very well but there is clear liquid around dark green clumps. Are they egg bound? Is it just a breed trait? What should I do?

I just recently had a hen that was "eggbound". Her back door was sticking out and appeared to be swollen. I read where placing the hens backside in a container of warm water for 30 min. to loosen up the muscles to allow her to pass the egg. Roughly 16 hours later, she passed it. Whew! But we kept her separate from the other hens, and kept her warm. Use the search engine in the forum to locate the "Egg bound" topic. It was very helpful.
