We have 2 rescue chickens, breed is possibly golden-buff and they are of unknown age.
One of the two is displaying signs of sickness: sparse feathering on her underside, she is favoring one leg, her poo is slimy and very stinky. She has something coming out of her vent that I can only describe as an egg membrane and hasn't been eating much. She is the only one showing these signs, and has not laid in 1-2 days. We have given her an epsom salt bath and stuck her in a cat carrier with a towel over it for some peace and quiet in hopes that she will lay, I did use some veg oil around her vent but I could not feel if anything was stuck there. Our vet is not open until Monday - 2 days from now. I know egg bound hens especially if it has broken can be fatal but since I couldn't feel anything its hard to certainly say that is the problem.

I am very worried, any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Could you get a picture of her vent?
Also, I'd get some calcium citrate +D3 and give her one tablet once a day, it'll help her pass something that she may be having trouble with.
