How is she doing?

She's eating and drinking and no poo on bottom so she's went back in her coop this am. At noon and three she seemed ok..ate in front of me and drank...

Hello.Thanks for the inquiry..she is eating and drinking..and walking around some...she is back in the coop as she is the dominant hen...no eggs this week ..I've given calcium water..so far ..so good

If she was egg bound she would have passed by now. I'm wondering if she could have some sort of reproduction issue.

Hello .I apologize for the delay. Our service is sporadic..during winter winds...she hasn't laid and I drew some fluid off ...another soak was enjoyed but no results...I'm wondering if she's just having old age catch up...she is my oldest and wisest hen....along with my RIR Roo..both 8 years...she's showing NO signs of distress and still let's the youngsters know she's boss!
I appreciate you keeping in touch ..it's nice to converse. I alone care for my farm and bedridden mother. Both keep me very busy and any time to myself is usually a quick nap. Hope this finds you and yours well..be safe
