egg cartons

Everyone knows that I save egg cartons, so they keep them for me and give them to me. I advertise on craigslist and freecycle. Right now, I have about 90 egg cartons that people have given to me over the last 2 weeks. I get egg cartons weekly. I have never had to purchase egg cartons.

thanks everyone. I have had friends saving their cartons for me, but I am getting more eggs faster than we thought we would, so therefore I am running out of cartons. We own our own business so it is just my husband, son and I, so I can't ask co workers for cartons, but I might put a notice out at my church for some. That might work. Thanks for the websites, I wil look into them. Our feed store does not sell cartons. Have a GREAT day everyone.

Ask the Feed Store where you buy your chicken feed if they will let you put up a card asking for cartons. There is a girl in our community who is selling eggs "for her college fund", or so the card says. Also, ask at your church. They might let you put a 1-line notice in the bulletin. Even though I have 12 chickens, all but 1 is on strike at the moment, so I may be back to buying eggs again myself. I always have saved the cartons to give to who ever asks for them. Another place to put an add is Craigs List, if you are near a big town.
