Egg cleaning

I have read different ways to clean eggs. What is the best and safest way to clean eggs?

Run under hot water an rub with your hand....

If I have to, that's what I do. I don't clean eggs unless they are poopy. It washes off the "bloom," a natural protective coating.

I clean them with Oxine if I am planning on incubating a very dirty egg.. otherwise I just use water and a scrubby sponge
