You DO NOT NEED TO WASH EGGS BEFORE SETTING THEM!!!! You will do more harm than good. If there is excess poop, just scrape the bulk of it off and incubate them. I don't care what everybody else says, I hatch about 5000 birds a year and have NEVER washed an egg.
