Egg color changed

I have a Welsummer thats been laying beautiful dark brown eggs.
The last 2 eggs have been lite.
Is there a problem and why the egg color change?
They hens are getting enough calcium?

How long has she been laying? Egg color can fluctuate, especially if they've been laying a while and are getting ready to take a break. That Brown is just a coating and sometimes the "ink" will run low, or even sputter. I've had random ombre eggs show up before.

chicken's eggs are usually more colorful when they are young, and get paler as they age. Other factors as well can affect the shade of a bird's eggs.

Some color variation is normal. My Welsummer's eggs are sometimes spotted, sometimes darker, sometimes lighter. It has nothing to do with calcium.

Thank you everyone. I just wanted to make sure it was normal.
My Welsummer will be 1 in March.
Today is the first day she hasn't laid since she started. I think the flock needs a break. So I will probably start shutting the lights off earlier. I have 9 hens a mix flock of Welsummer Orpingtons, Columbians and Ameraucanas. They have been doing great. Time to let them slow down.
Its just me and I don't need many eggs.
I just love watching them.

I'm so glad I found this thread! My OE is laying different shades of green, but she's a new layer. I'm not even sure at this point what the true color will be! Hopefully within a month or so the color changing will mellow out.
