I think our sliding door is like their big screen TV. They stand there and watch us all the time. I've left the door open to see if they would come inside, and they stick their heads in to look around, but they've never stepped foot inside. Probably for the best. Besides these 5, I also have a Light Sussex and 2 Ameraucanas....you know...chicken math. If I had a little property in the country, I'd have a bunch of chickens.

Question if have a hen that lays a tan egg, breed her, hatch that egg and it turns out to be a rooster. Take son breed back to mom to keep egg color?
