I have a trio, one roo and two hens. All are just over a year old. I have incubated several batches of eggs and nothing. No signs of development. I have incubated numerous eggs successfully, so I know that's not the problem. I have even removed some feathers around their vents. Any other suggestions to help increase the fertility?

I don't know what else to try and have never had this problem in the past. I really didn't want to get rid of the roo because he is beautiful.

That is what I would do. Look for the bullseye to see if your boy is shooting blanks. If he is there probably isn't much choice but to replace him.

If you are not doing so already you could put them all on gamebird breeder rations along with plenty of green feed if they are not free-ranging. Cut out all scratch and other treats. Give them a month then look for the bullseye in several eggs again. If you still don't see it then it's time for a new cock bird.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. I have checked and thought I saw a bullseye but with absolutely no development I know I was wrong. I really hate to get rid of the roo, he's such a nice one, but I guess I must
