So for the past month one of my chickens has been having some issues with her eggs. At first it started it off with her eggs getting calcium deposits and then one time she was acting very sick and weak and I brought he inside and tended to her and she layed the egg membrane and yolk and was doing much better after that. That made me nervous so I started supplementing and putting some omega egg laying powder in with their food and gave them all some poultry cell in their water and dewormer them. The next couple days she continued to lay shell less eggs under their roosts and then they started to get some calcium on them again but still have the deposits. Now it seems like she’s back to the shell less membrane eggs. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I know if it was nutritional deficiency it would take some time to correct itself but I’m worried about them breaking inside her or getting egg yolk peritonitis. Right now she’s acting totally normal, eating and drinking, although I did notice almost diarrhea like poop a couple times (from the deworming maybe?). Any ideas or people who have had similar situations?
