Egg laying & raccoon theif

With that many eggs in the nest already the other girls might be laying in nest also?

If its her 1st laying season or 1st time letting nest she might take awhile. Hopefully she will get the hormones going and go full broody soon. That is a lot of eggs for her to cover.

Also, this is the first time we’ve ever had a raccoon stop by. We are thinking of using that large un-used kennel and turning it into a new pen while using the chicken wire from their fence and house as an added deterrent.

A racoon will rip that chicken wire like paper. Probably been said already but hardware cloth is perfect

That’s why I added the camera to see if one of our other girls could be laying too but so far it’s only been her
