Hi All,
I need some serious help. A well intentioned friend of mine got my chickens to lay eggs in a part of the yard that I didn't want them to. He was trying to follow their wants to maximize happiness. Unfortunately it is decreasing mine. So, now I need to get them to at least lay in the part of the yard that I am good with. I ideally would like them to lay in the coop. Right now they have gone from laying 5 - 6 eggs/day (6 chickens) to none in the last two days since I moved their nesting boxes. Any ideas, advice, ANYTHING!!
Thanks so much.
Also...is this bad for them...to not lay eggs for a few days? Just wondering if they'd get backed up or anything. I know, sounds stupid, but I really don't know. Thanks for all your help.
Judy
