Egg lobe turning purple?

Hey my Delaware is 18 weeks old and today I noticed one of her ears is turning purplish and has what likes to be a scab on it. What could be wrong? These are my first chickens. The other ear is nice and red like her comb and waddle.

Could she have gotten stung or bitten?

There is a small wound on the earlobe. Maybe she was pecked or injured it. Sometimes a tick can bite and cause bluish swelling. Bruising can be blue or usually green.

it’s all better now and I didn’t have to do anything.

It probably was a bruise from an injury. Glad she is all better.
