Egg on coop floor - did my broody kick it out?

It was under her this morning but this afternoon the egg was on the coop floor? Is it not good or was it an accident?

I put it back under her and I have them marked so I know which one it is. This is day 10.

Any help is appreciated!

it could if it dropped a far distance but I would not worry to much about it.

If you have multiple nesting boxes she could have been trying to move it and... oops!

No it’s like a foot fall to a soft fluffy hemp bedding. The egg was in perfect condition

Can’t they move eggs though? Wouldn’t she bring it back to her nest? I’m new to this lol

I would think she would if she noticed it. I wouldn't worry about it. just put it back for her and see if she removes it again. if not then it was by mistake.
