Egg question [PICS]

I marked my eggs with a black sharpie. What this the wrong thing to do? My dad said it could clog the pores?

Only if you mark the entire egg up!
Just a mark for id or rotation won't matter. I prefer to use pencil. I don't think a small amount of ink would be toxic, but I like the non-permenant method of graphite.

if it is fertile, there is a chance it can be harmed from the ink.like turkaholic said, i reccommend pencil also.

Quick question. The egg in the middle was left overnight and it got like below 35 degrees F, will it be okay?

Don't throw them out! Unless you are short on incubator space, put them in and see what develops. If it kills the embryo, you'll know not to do it again. If the poults hatch you'll have proven us wrong. Now, if the poults come out with dates on their backs, you may set a trend!
