Recently I have signed up for a "Production Class One Dozen Egg Show" at my local county fair. The hen I plan to use for this is a Brahma and I'm not sure if she is a consistant layer or not. She is in a pen with another hen and I get ususally one egg a day. I was wondering what I could do to help with her production because the dozen eggs has to be layed before the fair.

Thank you. Would feeding her laying crumbles help increase her protein?
If haven't heard of the light thing before, what will it do for her? And will it keep her awake?

Layer crumble has the same nutrition as layer pellets (unless it's a different brand), it's just in a different form. You can feed her worms and meat to increase protein.

Hens need around 14 hours of sunlight to lay an egg (that's why egg production slows in winter). Laying hens will treat the light as sunlight so your hen should lay more often.
BTW, per week, how often does she lay?
