LOL! Still no egg, but your comments reminded me of something my 12yr old said recently. She asked me to save one of the eggs so she could have a baby chicken, and I told her that won't work because we don't have a rooster, and if you don't have a rooster the eggs won't hatch into chicks. Her reply: "Well what do they hatch into instead?"

Um.... omelettes?

I was all brave one day and asked one of our farming neighbors how eggs were fertilized. She just looked at me with disbelief but than realized I wasn't joking. We both laughed

I'm so glad I'm not alone.
