this pic is about 2-3 weeks old i think

Sweet!

I love to see pictures of chicks and young chickens, it makes me want to go out and get some right now! Lol!

I have to wait until we're ready for more though, I just use BYC to get my baby chick fix.

my BSL is on her second week of laying and is 21 wks, i have 2 australorps that have large wattles and combs the same size as the bsl they squat when approached and have been for 1wk. my bsl only squatted the day before she layed, I'm just wondering when my australorps will start laying they are 19 wks now. anyone have any clue?

Hi Tfalls3. According to Murry Mcmurry hatchery they should lay at between 5 and 6 months. I have a few myself but they are only 9 weeks old. I am sure that there are other members out there who could give you a better idea when they should start laying. Good luck with the flock.
