When i was a kid there was this machine in the grocery store. You would put a coin in and this giant mechanical chicken would start squawking.

bok bok bok bok
bok bok bok bok
bok bok bok bok
bok bok bok ba GAWK!

Real chickens sound exactly like that machine when they sing the egg song.

Someone on here has a video recording of a real one, but i can't find it right now. I'll keep looking.

Ok thanks that cleared everything up my RIR are 25 weeks and do that all the time.

Im getting excited i only get one egg every other day from them so im getting really anxious for them to start poping them out i almost thought for a second i had some squeezing to do lol

yep, its a little bit happier than the "yikes, we're in danger" song. Sometimes one of mine will sing....I'll go out to get the egg and.......nope, no egg in sight. Hmmmm, talk about being punk'd. But usually, there's a nice warm egg waiting. And I love how all the other ladies come to admire the new deposit.
