Egg with cracks

Ugh....I forgot to candle my eggs before incubating them. I just pulled a couple out last night to check them and saw this egg has cracks Air cell looks a bit big for only being on day 2 as well so I’m sure it’s lost moisture because of the cracks and time spent waiting to be incubated.

Ive read different times that people use wax to fill cracks, but what wax is everyone using? I’ve never seen anyone mention it. Do I rub a candle on it? Drop hot wax on it
Is it already too late?
Id really appreciate some guidance.

those cracks are minor but if you want to be safe yes drip some candle wax over them. I use an unscented tealight, you can pick up a pack at any supermarket. Just let the wax drip and run down the crack, try to cover it without making too much of a mess, 3 well placed drips should cover each crack and then straight back in the incubator

Thank goodness I love candles and have tea lights on hand
