I recently got a very small misshapen egg from one of my hens. It was about an inch and a half long and an inch wide. When I cracked it, it contained egg white but no yolk. Most of my hens are molting right now so I'm getting fewer eggs than before anyway. I thought it was interesting. I've gotten an egg with no shell on two occasions too. Sometimes things just go wrong. I have BOs and they lay nice large brown eggs most of the time. I give them layer feed and oyster shell free choice so I don't think there are any nutritional issues. This is the first time I got a yolk-less egg and I thought it would be informative to share the info.
