I found an egg with what can only be described as an umbilicus sticking out of one end! [IMG] What IS this and did it hurt the hen???? [IMG]

Sometimes things misfire. Is she acting like she's hurt? If not, don't sweat it, every now and then they just have a fluke freak egg.

The egg layer is a mystery. WHo knows. No one is acting any stranger than they normally do!

I've never seen anything like this freak show.... [IMG] [IMG]

I found a duck egg once with a tail. It was a tube of shell filled with white, about the size of my pinky finger.
