My Buff Orpington laid an egg without a shell, is it edible?
My Easter Egger laid an egg at the same time with extra shell. Is something wrong?
I did just merge 3 babies into their coop?

Yes its edible, but I would not eat it just like I would not eat a sick acting chicken. It happens, I seen it often when I had a few hundred layers.

Both are not uncommon and not anything to be particularly concerned about - the shell-less egg can be considered edible provided the membrane is fully intact - *if* at all concerned just toss it, feed it to an animal, etc. The bumpy egg is just one with extra calcium deposits, they happen now and then.

Easter Hen hasn't laid an egg for three days and today it was shelless & kind of firm. I opened it and there was an egg/sack within an egg/sack. The inner egg was mucus green no yoke. I guess I'm glad she passed it cause it could have bound her up.

She is not acting normal, ever sense the first shelless egg. Is she ok?

Can anyone help me with this. It’s from my americauna who is a little over a year old. She’s been very inconsistent when it comes to laying. She also lays very small eggs. Her sister on the other hand lays perfect eggs everyday to every other day consistently...
