Egg Worries

Liquid. 1 ounce per 15 pounds of feed.
This isn't good.
How do you know how much each bird ate? It's impossible to know if each bird got enough for none at all.

You really need to dose each bird separately straight to the beak.

It doesn't look like a soft shelled, or shell-less egg to me. Maybe a lash egg?
If you find anymore, cut them open. A lash egg looks layered inside.
I haven't yet had to deal with worms, so I really don't know anything at all about the kinds of egg issues worms can cause.

Looks like an entire follicle came off instead of just an ova(yolk).
Too bad you didn't cut it open to confirm.
Have seen a couple of these here on BYC over the last year.
Could be a one off glitch, or symptom of a longer term reproductive disorder.

Good Job!!
Get more pics?
Was the outer membrane filled with veins?
No, I was prepared to take a photo but when I broke it open, and just the yoke poured out, it didn't seem worthwhile at that point. The ultra thin membrane had no veins. I'm relieved, I guess? My ladies have been laying beautiful eggs with hard shells up until now. I did put oyster shells out today in a separate dish near the feeder.

That's OK.....I'd not panic unless it happens multiple times.
There are some weird eggs that we see in the backyard that are sorted out at the commercial facilities so we never see them in grocery eggs.
