Egg Yolk Defect

Any ideas on what this might be or what would cause it? It is on a duck egg.

I believe it's called a meat spot. It's a piece of tissue that broke off. If it happens often then it can mean the ducks reproductive system wont be good for much longer.(from my research) If it's just this once then I wouldnt worry.

Well that was my original thought, but I’ve never seen one this big, or this color for that matter. Thanks for your input!

It is an odd color. Might dissect it a bit further, might offer a clue.
