It looks to me like the membrane has dried out around him. If it were me, I would take some tweezers and gently remove the yellowed membrane that sticking to him. And moisten any other membrane showing before putting him back in the incubator. Be very very careful if you decide to do that, though. Stop immediately if you see any bleeding.

How long has it been in there? When did you assist the egg? Did you open it up from where it pipped? Where is the humidity at currently?Can someone tell me if it’s egg yolk is absorbed? I can’t tell and am worried . It is yawning though.

I will answer your question in order. It has been piped yesterday at around 7am. I assisted the egg with a very small hole at around 7pm yesterday and 9am today and yes I did it from where it pipped. The humidity is at 55 to 60.How long has it been in there? When did you assist the egg? Did you open it up from where it pipped? Where is the humidity at currently?
I don't know ducklings well, but the duckling looks malpositioned to me. Hoping someone with more experience with ducks would jump in soon.
