Thanks... I am going to try and settle down. She is in the bathroom with food, water, and a cup of sand in a neck's stretch length. I should have been all happy today because my three green eggs hatched and they are pretty striped babies... Puddles is in the same room with them and is VERY interested in the chicks... I will hope for the best tomorrow. And tomorrow I will move my chicks out of the incubator and get them set up.

She is not broody.

She does have a mug of water with 2 Tums dissolved in it. She has 4 grain scratch and until yesterday, access to freerange for greens and dirt.

If she were mine I would give her some calcium citrate or calcium gluconate *orally*. The dose I would give is 50 mg per pound of body weight. Tums in the water is *very unlikely* to help if this is from her calcium level being low.

It good that you checked for a stuck shelled egg, and those are usually pretty easy to feel, but it is possible that she has a stuck shell-less egg, those are hard to feel and they are easily broken, so I suggest that you let the vet check her.

I have a bag of medicated Chick Starter. Should I give her some of that right now?

Medicated chick starter would be better than scratch until you can get a proper laying or all flock feed.

Vet said (over the phone) that its most likely calcium. I told her what I have been feeding and how all the feed stores always tell me to feed the 4 grain scratch and she said ALOT of her clients have been told the same thing and have extreme difficulty finding waterfowl food of any sort. I am packing her up to go to the vet so she can get some inject able calcium shots.

Yeah, she said her clients have to special order it. It doesn't make sense. It is not like people don't have waterfowl around here. One of these feed stores should CARRY IT. I am waiting to take her to the vet for just a bit. Her appointment is at 1:45 and my paycheck comes around that time so I want to take her to vet early, drop off and go wait for my paycheck at work. I just don't want to drop her off too early so she won't get too stressed in a strange place.

...wow, even though their page says they carry it, the store said they can not even order it. They can get a different brand of waterfowl maintenance and waterfowl starter so I will at least go and order that but they won't have until next week.
