What are the egglaying/about to be egglaying clues everyone can think of out there?

Comb & wattle getting larger and bright red!!

Combs & wattles turning red(er), start practicing their song & checking out the nests.

The pelvic bones open up and create a wider opening - you can slip 3 fingers between them. On non-laying hens, you can usually only slip 1 or 2 fingers between.

What else? I often catch them "tanking up" on oyster shell, just before they start to lay.

When the leave the nest there is a brown/white/blue/green/pink oblong shaped thing where they were sitting.

I didn't get any clues. I cleaned out the chicken house then went to clean it the following week and had over 60 small eggs
