Eggs after babies and weird tiny egg

This one had no shell at all, just the membrane. There was nothing in it when we opened it just what looked like the egg white....

My daughter got a kick out of it...this little jelly ball...lol.

Thanks for reassuring that it was normal. I was hoping that everything was ok. I have my my chickens for 2 years now and have never see one so tiny.

When my last broody started pushing and pecking at her babies I took them away. I had her seperated in a pen with them. After seperation I cleaned the pen and found two eggs buried in the shavings. I guess she was ready, lol.

How old were they when she did that?


And now I have 2 hens taking on the Momma roll. The broody that hatched them out and one of the others in there. They both call the babies over and show them what to do. The chicks go under both of them...they sit in the same nest together. Will I have double the trouble?? lol
