I havent candled the chicken eggs again yet, but the last time I was able to tell veins in one of the s/s eggs and not sure about the other. Of course that doesnt mean anything, I am notoriously bad until they get quite a bit further along! (Sigh, must be getting OLD, my eyes are going!
 )
I am looking forward to comparing chicks too. I have been absolutely religious about the temps and humidity, any time I get up in the middle of the night (insomniac so thats a LOT) I check them. Yes, I know, paranoid much???
I have been talking to my daughter about the button eggs and s/s eggs, she is excited for them to get here.(Me too!)
I put this in another thread, but I won an auction for four Pilgrim goose eggs (presale), I did enough with the presales that by the time I am done hatching chickens it will be time for those.

If I can keep this STRAIGHT, I have four packages coming this week, one of 18 silkies (PQ), yours with the buttons and s/s, one from Cloverleaf of salmon faverolle crosses and one from chickenlittle32 with chickens and guineas (her turkeys stopped laying).
Next week 6 albino chukar eggs if the persons birds keep laying.
Presales(taking care of those auctions this week) Pilgrim goose eggs , Blue bibbed call duck eggs, Chocolate Pheasant eggs, Texas Blue Scale quail eggs and Peacock eggs.
I will try and try until I have hatched everything (if it takes years!) until I get it ALL right.
The only other thing I would like to find this year is turkeys and maybe African or Chinese goose eggs. I hatched Chinese, Toulouse cross and Emden cross last year and enjoyed the experience. They were all shipped eggs.
Eeek!! How could I forget!! I want to find coturnix later on in the season!!!
