Eggs are moving! How much longer???

Flash is now in his brooding box. He's found the food. Still waiting on him to discover the water. This little fellow has imprinted on me, and I am trying not to spoil him. I put a stuffed animal in with him, and he is sleeping on it.

I went to Home Depot and bought a digital hygrometer/thermometer. I just didn't trust the ones I had. It's reading 75% humidity.

Three of the other eggs have broken the pip area a little more. I'm hoping some will wait until tomorrow so that my students will get to watch the hatching.

Thanks for your help!

That's a cute video and it looks like he's bored not thirsty. Lol good on the stuffed animal because they do not like to be alone..

He's using the stuffed animal as a way to climb closer to me! He is spoiled!

Another question: some of the eggs that have pipped are rolled over with the pip near the bottom. Is this going to be a problem?

O mi goodness, that Flash is Adorable. ! I thought the stressful bit was waiting by the letterbox for mail order eggs.... but just reading this has my heart Racing for both sets of eggs. I have 2 weeks left with mine in the incubator, so l'll be a wreck by then if this is anything to go by :/
Will be checking in often , good luck :hugs!

A mallard just hatched about 15 minutes ago. I have both vents open.

KeepMum, thanks for the congratulations! If I can offer any newbie advice, it would be to try, try, TRY not to spoil the first one. :)

I hatched eggs many years ago in my classroom, but I don't remember it being this scientific or stressful! How am I going to teach and hold a spoiled duckling!
