It’s been that range but I’ve read on a few sites to drop it once they start hatching. Maybe that’s when they’re all out?? I increased to 99.5.I put my temperature between 99.5 and 100.5.
I never lower it and you shouldn't. It dries the chicks off to keep it above 99.5It’s been that range but I’ve read on a few sites to drop it once they start hatching. Maybe that’s when they’re all out?? I increased to 99.5.

Amazing advice! My humidity has creeped up to 77 so just lowered temp to 98.6.I'm in lockdown right now. 98.7 degrees and 63% humidity. The more you up your humidity the more you should lower your degrees. I've hatched over a 1000 eggs in incubators and in the beginning the lessons were hard. Drowned chicks from too high of humidity and too high of temperatures. You have to find what works in your area, and then write down what works best.
Did you test your thermometers and hygrometers before setting eggs?Amazing advice! My humidity has creeped up to 77 so just lowered temp to 98.6.
