Eggs Chirping too Early

I purchased 4-Welsh Harlequin eggs from Metzer Farms. They arrived and were placed 2 each under broody chicken hens on the 12th of November. This morning there is chirping under one hen. Isn't it too early? @Jenbirdee

cheep cheep can happen now, they are two weeks and 5days old, sometime chicks hatch early by a day or two and some times late by a day or two

That does sound way too early. Have you been candling them? Duck eggs usually take 28 days. Did they send you the wrong thing?

Hopefully they didn't! I would be afraid of the hen breaking her broodiness if a chick hatched (since the duck eggs take a week longer).

Thank God, I have that one covered...two under one broody hen and two under another. I can just move one egg to the other

I don't think metzer does chickens.
