I love the Chicken Sign. We need one and I was wondering where did you get this. We have been looking for a pattern online and cant find one to make it.

A friend from my Moms church did this for me for a few dozen eggs and the cost of the materials (paint& letters) the saw blade she donated. I didn't or haven't put it at the end of theroad on the highway yet as I figure one of the local redneck kids will come by and shoot the chickens on it with a shotgun for sh-ts and giggles.

I am going to start selling eggs from my house instead of just to family and friends.  I just made this sign to hang at the end of my driveway on the days I have eggs to sell.


It is made from old roofing slate that I painted.  I painted the same thing on both sides.  I have brown, green & blue eggs for sale.  /img/smilies/wink.png
