I have three chickens and in recent weeks there have been very few eggs in the coop. This morning I discovered a dozen eggs under a bush and I'm wondering if it is ok to eat them. Temperatures have been below 60 during the day and into the 40s at night the past week. I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but I suspect less than 2 weeks.

I had exactly the same a few months ago except there were 24 eggs.
I ate them all. They're fine.
As long as their not in heat or direct sunlight they should be alright.

They are probably fine to eat but I would crack them into a separate bowl to make sure before using.

x2, though I'd be more wary of using them if they were wet (i.e. lots of rain lately, or dewy mornings) as that would wash off the bloom that protects the contents.
