Eggs had a plane trip. Lets see what happens. I HAVE BABIES. and PICS.

Just read this whole thread- coz I only just realized that it was an aussie taking eggs on a plane.. and wanted to catch up... So forgive me for bringing it up again.... The security at the air port in Melbourne...just checked the eggs rather than scanning them... Wow last time I was at the airport I got pulled aside and checked over for explosives...Must say the daughter and her friend thought it was hilarious. But good to hear you are allowed to take eggs on to a domestic flight. I bought a lot of eggs last year- but just had them posted- and had terrible hatch rates from all of them... Although I was also new to incubating- and had to fine tune how to work the incubator too. 9 months later the incubator is still turned on but at least I am getting some better results now. Gee I could have had a human baby in that time

Ill keep an eye out for this thread now- since us Aussies are a bit lonely on here sometimes around this time of our evening..

Good luck with those eggs, and hope the results are going to be good.

Yay! A week away!!!!!
Kathy bought silkies???? You are right, she has figured out the angle - she'll buy instead of incubate. Teale, she sent me the most beautiful BBS orps- probably had to make room for those silkies!

Have a great day,

ok, we have some problems. the incubator is running at 39. it won't go down, I even have it at it's lowest setting and it is still running at 39. I just put in another thermometer just in case the thermometer I have in there is wrong. I have been opening the bator to let out all the hot air but I am wondering how I am going to do this in lock down

I am wondering what's going to happen when they start laying.

That is a bit warm but seeing as how you can't do anything about it and the eggs have made it this far, don't worry! I bet you have a great hatch!
