Eggs in bator!

Looks like there are gonna be alot of chicks running around on here soon! Good luck with all you hatches. I have about 40 due sat, need to sent about 75 more. We do have a fertile Sebastopol egg in the bator! WooHoo!

I candled today here is what i got:
Started with 39 eggs
-1 damaged in shipping
-6 non-fertile
-5 blood rings

that leaves me with 3 under itty bitty and 24 in the bator! Fingers crossed that thats all I lose. I will not candle again until I move them into the hatcher next weekend!

It's lock-down weekend!!! Tomorrow evening for me, how about everyone else? I candled for the last time today, although the white polish/silkie cross eggs are the only ones I had been able to see in since I candled at around day 7. The others are just too dark-colored. The white eggs are almost completely dark now - and on last weekend's candling I could see little toes!

well i said i was going to try and update on a regular basis and i have failed that! Currently have 9 chicks and plenty of pips and cheeps!

I have a bunch more to go so lets hope for a productive daye!

well we have 11 chicks right now and 16 eggs with nothing. They were expected to hatch wednesday. We did have a temperature drop to around 93 one day and are thinking that maybe the temperature reading we were holding at was inaccurate. Hoping that it was a few degrees low and the babies are taking a little longer. I will candle them this weekend and see . . .
