Eggs in incubator day 19

It was several hours for mine... like 7 or 8 hours with just a tiny hole. Then they suddenly go for it and are faster.... then they zip and out in 30mins. That's what mine have done anyway

I do have one that's been pipped since first thing, 6am this morning, it's gone 6pm here now and it hasn't changed at all. Hoping it's ok...

I have 6 with pips now... hope I can work out who's who if they all decide to hatch during the night!

Wow 6 with pips. How exciting. I bet you will wake up to lots of peeping. So since your egg with the pip has already been 12 hours will you help it by 6am tomorrow?

Yes I will be refreshing myself on the assisting with a hatch thread that is on here somewhere tonight... if anyone has it to hand pls tag it to this feed if you can.
I'm definitely not confident with assisting as it would be the first time I have done that. I'm happy to try as long as it's not too heartbreaking! 💔

I feel about the same. If mine doesn't zip by 24 hours I know it may be time to try assisting. Tweezers and slow going.

I also worry about opening the incubator too much... and shrink wrapping my other pippers. When I have opened it I always mist and the humidity rises within seconds... temp drops a degree or two and probably takes a minute to rise
