Ohh that is so cute. I want to put mine on grass but I need the heatwave to pass. It's entirely too hot. I'm in Florida. It's been low to mid 90s. F not C. My broody looks rough already. I tried to get her to eat and drink today but she was angry and refused.

they love sitting in the sun. My legbars come and peer at them but the copper marans and my bantam are always terrified of them. They take one look and run and hide in the bushes! 
Oh gosh they are so cute. So funny that your big birds are afraid of them. My broody has eaten one of her eggs so I have one less possible hatch. Nothing but heat and rain here so my chicks are still inside. Absolutely nasty weather we are having here. I would love to sit in the sun like your Chickies but I would burn to a crisp in 5 minutes.Finally another dry day! Chicks are having another turn outside, this time in their integration run. Looking forward to the being outside more tbh. They love it and always try and fly out of their box inside. So far it looks like only 1 frizzle out of the possible 9 that hatched. They're all so cute though
Feathers are coming at very different rates, I'm not sure how long till they can come outside for always
Shame about the broody... hopefully the rest are ok. Just really enjoying the sun and thankfully temperature is fine too atm. Hopefully gets better for you

Yes that's interesting. I'll be keeping my chicks inside for a few more weeks I think and just do little trips outside from time to time. They are next to a window so they get to see outside and I'll cut the side of their box of so my big hens can see them more too.
