Eggs In Winter.. Do I need to do anything to help?

Last count we were blessed with 25 eggs, She sits on them till around midday and than goes off to forage till some hour of the early morning, We have given her an abundance of hay to nest in and shes built a beautiful fat bed for them. My question is being winter here in New Zealand atm should I be doing anything else to encourage them along? And when the ducklings have hatched iv been told to separate them from their parents after a few hours and pop them into a box with 65watt lightbulb attached, is this correct info for baby ducklings? Thankyou for your advice and opinions
