I have been to the learning cntr and scaned the forum and cant find this. Sorry if I missed it or if I put this inn the wrong place. But......

I cracked an egg for breakfast this am and it was looking back at me. see the 2 blk dots??? What is that and why is it in my egg and is it safe to eat????

never seen this before and I have been eating farm eggs all my life???

I imagine they are "meat spots," tiny bits of tissue, quite safe to eat. Older hens more commonly lay eggs with meat spots. I see them now and then.

Safe and happens from time to time. Commercial systems can find that stuff and they don't make it into cartons in stores but it is common for them too.
