Eggs of my pullets just went to lockdown today......

what breeds where you supposed to have in there?

the eggs of my pullets which are production red, golden comet, and white leghorns.....??????.......and what i noticed is that the BPR colored chick came out of a white egg that belongs go my leghorns......

.....so i cant sell my eggs as being white leghorns if this colorings are going to come out, its going to be hard which hen lays this eggs.

if i had to guess they are ideal leghorns. they have some California gray in them - that's white leghorn/barred rock cross. its fairly common and makes aspiring breeders bang their heads against the walls. ive seen it here too, i almost posted it before asking.

if you look real close, the hens with the most dominate gray gene usually has a black spot or 2 on some of its feathers. i don't know if that will help. also they usually will have some tint to their eggs.
