Hello, last week we lost 10 chickens overnight with no signs of an animal attack. Our only thought was maybe they're waterers were too dirty or contaminated. (Our well water did get high in nitrates and a new filter put on recently also.) We changed their water, cleaned out the system, and no deaths have occurred since then.

Does anyone know if the eggs would be safe to eat or could their be issues with them?

Holy crap???? I'd be super concerned and suspicious. Is it too late to get some kind of an autopsy to see what killed 10 of your birds?
