I have a broody chicken on some eggs. My question is my coop is kind of high up in the air. After the eggs hatch I would like the hen to do the work and stay with her chicks. I will add a photo of coop. There is also a door on the back but the chickens jump down to the run in the back. Should I wait till they are all done hatching or should I try to move the hen and eggs and put in a dog crate? Will the chicks try to follow mom out of the coop right away? Will they stay in the nest box for a few days? I appreciate any input, thanks.

If the hen leaves the nest (which is usually when most hatch), she'll call to them and they will follow her. They may not be able to figure out how to negotiate the ramp.
