Eggs taste good, but just a little "gamy"

Thanks. I have them in tractors so they do get some grass and insects. I have 2 more hens laying now, a wyandotte and black sex link. The eggs are different shades of brown among the three with BSLs nearly pink, and the RIRs the darkest brown. Only the RIR uses the nest box. ??

This is what I got from some visiting kinfolks. These were eggs from my RIR pullet that has been laying for about 3 weeks. Personally I don't taste any gamy flavor,, they are a little richer and a bit more orange-yolked than store eggs;. I am only feeding 16% layer feed from Orscelins. ??
Trust me, this is the taste of genuine and authentic eggs. Let us know what you were feeding them, when this so-called "Gamey" taste was noticed.
Thanks!

This thread is from 2012, what I like to call a zombie thread, haha. Just thought I would point that out so you aren't waiting for a response. Its always good to check the date at the top of the post before posting. Welcome to BYC! :welcome
Don't worry about it though, i've done it before too. 😉
